Patrick McCormick Part Two.

The blood flow from Patrick’s gash in his left arm slowed. He winced at the pain from the slice he gave himself. He had blood all over the left side of his body, and there was a considerable amount on the bed and floor. He felt dizzy from the amount of blood he had lost.
The more the pain subsided, the more his emotions came back. Pain, Regret, Fear, Hopelessness all returned to him one by one.
Now, more than ever, he wanted to end his life.
And he was going to do it.
He stood up, his feet made a squelching sound on the wet blood in the carpet. Walking across his room to get to the set of drawers, he supported himself on the bedpost to keep his balance.
Opening the lowest drawer, he took his gun from underneath the old clothes inside.
He looked back at his room; there was a trail of blood from where he cut himself all the way to his set of drawers.
Patrick turned again to face the mirror. His face was pale with dark rings around his eyes. He gave himself a sour look in is mirror ‘pull the trigger and the nightmare stops’, he slowly brought the gun to his mouth. All of his pain and suffering turned into a burst of rage with which he pulled the trigger.

Blood flew across the room as the bullet blew a hole through the back of his skull. His body fell back and hit his bed frame on the way down. Making a loud thud, He finally hit the ground. Followed by the thud of the weighty gun on the floor.
